Last night I decided to go for a walk. I had an hour left before the 9:30pm curfew. And I didn’t really have much time to debate whether I wanted to go for a run or not. So I put on my regular running shoes. Not the Under Armour HOVR running shoes; because you know, I didn’t want the pressure. Nor did I wear my Hoka One One Rocket X, because those are just made for running. Nope, I put on the plain Jane running shoes, just in case; buy you know, no pressure.

I hadn’t walked a full block when I thought like walking was too boring and unproductive, and I felt I still had a tank full of energy. Plus my muscles felt pretty good, even after a few hours of cycling. So I started a running activity on my Polar watch and away we went. Once thing I have learned is that sometimes you don’t feel like putting in the effort for a workout, but once the body is warmed up, might as well go for it. What’s the worse that could happen?
